“If you dare to do, the Cosmic will give you the power to do.”
What separates an intention from an accomplishment? Why do we sometimes recognize what we ought to do, yet hesitate when the moment for action arrives?
AMORC describes self-mastery as learning to “chart your own course through life,” make choices and decisions, recognize circumstances as opportunities for growth, and actively change one’s situation. More importantly, AMORC explicitly says Rosicrucian principles are meant to be used, tested, and incorporated into life rather than merely understood intellectually.
In the classic Rosicrucian essay “Daring to Do,” Howard Steele (Rosicrucian Digest, Vol. VII, January 1930 explores an important mystical principle: that fear can diminish our capacity to act, while courageous, constructive action may awaken resources and possibilities that hesitation keeps dormant. The essay connects daring with knowledge, the law of compensation, trust in the Cosmic, and responsiveness to impulses that are generous, humanitarian, and constructive. It further argues that fear of the unknown often causes us to hesitate in doing precisely those actions toward which we feel deeply called.
Come discover what it might mean, for us, to move from knowing… to daring… to doing.
We look forward to seeing you at our workshop, open to the public.
