The Spokane Falls Discussion Group wishes to invite you to their next meeting on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

Topic: “Exploring the Art of Mental Transmutation"

This meeting is open to members, their families, and friends of the Rosicrucian Order (members, please bring a printed or electronic copy of your active membership credentials). Ed Hanson will host the meeting. Phoenix Divine will present the topic.

Exploring the Art of Mental Transmutation
Have you ever known exactly what needed to change in your life - and still found yourself repeating the same thoughts, reactions, or patterns? Hermetic teaching offers a profound way of understanding this struggle. Beginning with the principle “THE ALL is MIND.” Mental Transmutation explores our capacity to consciously transform mental states and change the relationship we have with the forces shaping our inner lives. The fears, beliefs, memories, habits, conditioning, and emotional patterns we carry can become the material of transformation. The deeper question is whether we learn to work consciously with that material - or continue allowing it to govern us as Master.

Together, we will explore the often-unspoken distance between recognizing a pattern and actually living beyond its former influence: why familiar states can be difficult to release, why old conditions sometimes return, and how Will, Attention, Polarity, Rhythm, experience, and conscious action participate in genuine transformation. Drawing from Rosicrucian and Hermetic principles, complemented by modern psychological insight and lived experience, the evening will weave together reflection, open discourse, and an original musical offering—bringing these principles out of the pages and into the living laboratory of our own lives. And ultimately, the discussion invites each of us to consider: What within me is material for transformation—and what have I allowed to become Master?

There is free parking along the north side and rear of the building. The entrance is at the rear. Ring the bell for entry.
