Event Description

Two Destructions of Atlantis

AMORC members only.

Toronto Lodge invites you to join their teleconference and mystical discussion on Thursday, May 23. This teleconference is based on an article in the Rosicrucian Digest, No. 2, 2006 on Edgar Cayce's Atlantis, selections (5 out of 364) from his readings.

The information to be presented is paraphrased based on 'unpacking' the actual dictation, keeping in mind the readings were done in 1932 US English, while Cayce was in a trance state. The paraphrase is done in the order that the readings were presented in the article, so not chronological. The answer to a question may not be exactly the answer to the question, but the focus is on the relevance of the context of the answer.

Cayce mentioned two periods of time for Atlantis' existenc. The first and longer period was when the earth's mass was one large continent and was not solid but made of mist. The first destruction happened in the latter end of this first period. The second, shorter period and time of the final desruction. (Desires related to the physical body were responsible for much of the destructive forces. Meat eating also influenced the destructive forces).

Other notes:

* Lemuria was destroyed before Atlantis

* There were native people on earth before the Atlanteans.

* The first destruction seems to have been an accident in the process of creation.

* The second destruction was caused by the ill use of the power of thought which caused atomic disintegration.

Access is at 7:45 pm; the teleconference begins at 8:00 pm (EDT)
