Event Description

Annual Memorial Ceremony and Picnic

Everyone is Welcome!

Gather at 5:30 pm for communal Sound Healing prior to the Memorial (Pyramid) Ceremony at 6:00 pm. A potluck picnic follows at 6:30 pm. Events will occur in and around the Picnic Shelter. (All events will be under the roof in case of rain.)

All are invited—bring friends/family! Haw Creek Park is a neighborhood treasure. It is a small park that is almost completely forest...there is a walking trail, a picnic shelter, and ...TREES! Big, beautiful trees. Come celebrate them with us!

Bring your favorite picnic food to share, we will provide tableware, drinks, fruit, devilled eggs, cookies...

Bring a blanket or folding chair and an instrument if you have them!

The Memorial Ceremony honors all those who came before us on the Rosicrucian path--including those in Ancient Egypt and before. During the ceremony, we will construct a symbolic pyramid to memorialize our forebears' contributions to our rich heritage.

Members kindly remember to bring your membership credentials.

Event Location: Haw Creek Park, 40 Avon Road, Asheville, NC 28805--We will be in the Picnic Shelter.
