Opening our Hearts with Baroque Music

In this teleconference, Grand Master Julie Scott will lead us in deeply connecting with classical music from the Baroque period (ca. 1600 – 1750). We will experience how certain music affects our heart rhythm and brain waves. We will also learn interesting facts about the lives and techniques of iconic Baroque composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel, Antonio Vivaldi, and Johann Pachelbel, as well as Isabella Leonarda and Wilhelmine, Margravine of Bayreuth. Through their music we will let our souls be transported by some of the greatest masterpieces ever composed and will be introduced to some less well-known music from the Baroque period.
