Event Description

The Art, Science, and Mysticism of Central Europe

Just back from leading the Rosicrucian Tour through Central Europe, Grand Master Julie Scott will share some of the art, science, and mysticism of this area. We’ll explore the beauty and mystique of Budapest, Vienna, Prague, and Krakow, from prehistoric times 36,000 years ago to ancient Roman times to the transformative periods of the Alchemists, the Renaissance, and the Enlightenment. We’ll stroll along historic Nerudova Street in Prague with its houses decorated with alchemical symbols instead of street numbers and explore Vienna’s Kuntshammer – the largest collection of objects from Emperor Rudolf II’s personal collection of human-made and natural wonders. We will also learn about the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, artist Gustav Klimt, scientist Marie Curie, and others from this area. Join Grand Master Scott on this journey through the Art, Science, and Mysticism of Central Europe.
