The Egyptian Initiation had two distinct parts:

1. Primitive Egypt - Initiation of Isis

2. Second part - Osiris Initiation

Understanding the trinity of Isis and Osiris as son and husband was the first part of the spiritual ascension of the Initiate. 

The time between the Isis initiation and the Osiris initiation coincided with the time of Moses. Moses passed the secret of Osiris to the Hebrews. Isis stayed with the Egyptian Soul.

The Verb was reborn as Jesus, the great Christian Instructor.
