To the average person the word "peace" is a symbol depicting freedom from strife.  To a multitude of people peace has no content in itself. They look upon it a s freedom of aggravation from something else. However, 6,000 years ago in Memphis, Egypt peace was considered to be a virtue in any moral or ethical member of society.  In the Torah the following phrase appears:  By these things is the world preserved - truth, judgment and peace.
