Event Description

The Pythagoreans: Numbers and the Music of the Universe

This is an AMORC members only event, presented by Soror Diane Piper, S.R.C., who will discuss "The Pythagoreans: Numbers and the Music of the Universe", based on the following articles: “The School of Pythagoras”~“The Music of the Spheres”~“Pythagoras and Music” (Rosicrucian Digest, Vol. 87, No. 1, 2009).

The Pythagorean’s Sacred Tetractys held the essence of creation, connecting numbers, music, and existence. They envisioned a Cosmic Symphony where planetary vibrations resonated as musical intervals. This presentation will provide an overview of this subject matter, drawing from three articles within a special Rosicrucian Digest publication focused on the Pythagoreans. Please join us for this very inspiring review and discussion. We look forward to seeing you!

Soror Diane Piper is a long-time member of the Rosicrucian Order, Past Master of Johannes Kelpius Lodge and presently serving as an officer for the Traditional Martinist Order in the Boston area.
