Dr. H. Spencer Lewis wrote that at this time of year there is a general agreement among the peoples of the Western world in regard to one timely thought – that of peace and friendliness.  While Christmas is a Christian holiday, it has become a universal holiday in the minds of humankind. Since the dawn of civilization, humans have liked to focus their spiritual expressions into certain concentrated periods of time and to establish certain holidays for the expression of human emotions. While we do feel thankful throughout the year, it has come to be that by mutual agreement we focus most of these expressions upon one day.
